Anne Stanton Sims
Ann Stanton Sims is a historian and author hailing from Century, FL, and currently resides in Monroeville, AL with her husband Robert. Her background includes work in the newspaper industry in various capacities including reporter, photographer, and artist. She also wrote frequently about local history for the Tri-City Ledger in Flomaton, FL.
Sims is the great-granddaughter of J.P. Harrison and Fannie McDavid Harrison, the subjects of her book, If Perfectly Agreeable: A love story and life in the 1880s and 1890s in Northwest Florida and Southwest Alabama, a work created as a labor of love after Sims discovered a treasure trove of letters written between the two in during their young adult years.
